Hilda was raised on a farm in Warwick County near Mulberry Island, in an area now known as Denbeigh Bluffs, Newport News, Va. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and housewife and mother. She dipped snuff and was known as "Nanny Webb". She and James Webb divorced after 25 years of marriage and she married a Roger White. She died on Jan 4, 1958 and is buried in Green Lawn Cemetery on the boundry of Newport News and Hampton, Va.601
