Gussie Thurston... Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville for Mrs. Gussie Thurston, 81, who died Monday night in Intercommunity Hospital.

A native of Sacramento, she resided in the San Francisco area most of her life. More recently she lived in Vallejo and Napa area and moved to Vacaville last year. Surviving her are a son, Robert W. White, Jr., of Vacaville, Two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Inurnment will be in Cypress Lawn, Colma, CA. The family requests memorial contributions to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in San Francisco.

Note that Intercommunity Memorial Hospital was founded in 1960 to serve the communities of Fairfield and Vacaville. It has since been renamed NorthBay Medical Center.4957
