Notes for Delva Winona Lindsey
1930 and 1940 US census records show her living with Deward and Phebe Holden and lists her last name as Holden. 1920 US census shows her living with Willard and Pheba Lindsay in Ovid, Idaho. Thus I presume that Lindsey was the surname she was born with but she was raised by Deward Holden and took his name. Of course, no one can agree if it is Lindsay or Lindsey. I went with the spelling in her obituary.
