William Blackwell and Mary Blackwell were witnesses to the will of Samuel Goodman, written 29 Mar 1729 in Hanover County. The third witness was George Turner. Goodman mentioned wife Lucie, son Benjamin, and son-in-law John Turner. Hanover County was established in 1721, taken from New Kent County. Blackwell's Neck, on the Pamuncky River, was included in the new county.613
