A James P. Blackemore from Sumner County was pardoned for desertion on January 19, 1865.3367 He was a member of Company B of the 18th Tennessee Infantry. He was captured at Ft. Donelson but returned in a prisoner exchange. He subsequently deserted at Chattanooga.116 Could be him.
