Documentation:2041 Arvid Verner PETERSON is my paternal grandfather. He was a
native Texan. He was born and raised in Olivia, Texas; he went to
college at Texas A&M University, then A&M College of Texas (Class of
1938); he taught Agriculture in Pharr, Hidalgo County, Texas, and married
there; and, he was a self-employed farmer in Rio Grande City, Starr
County, Texas (Starr Produce Company). My great-grandfather, Otto
PETERSON, came to America with two of his brothers, Charles and Lenus, in
1906 and settled in Olivia, Texas, where he resided until his death in
1938.
