Notes for George Blakemore
A George T Blakemore from Sumner County, TN enlisted in the Confederate Army in May 1861 and kept a diary of his experience until he died from wounds suffered at the Battle of Chickamauga in Septemer, 1863. Quite possibly this George Blakemore. It is Archive Number 881 in the Tennessee Sate Library and Archives.
