Obituary from the Southern Standard in McMinnville, TN reads:

Mulberry resident and Wayne County, Mich., native Lemmie Sherlie Bratten Jr., 69, died June 3 at Huntsville Hospital after a brief illness.

A retired equipment specialist with Redstone Arsenal Missile Command, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Liberty Church of Christ, he was the son of Lemmie Sherlie and Lena Belle Hendricks Bratten Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Neal Bratten; daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny and Dennis Kimery of Hazel Green, Ala., Cindy and Jerry Wheeler of Huntsville, Connie and Bill Facundo of Athens, Ala.; grandsons, Andrew and Joseph Kimery of Hazel Green, Seth Facundo of Athens, Jay and Sam Wheeler of Huntsville; and sister, Pauline Faynolia of Detroit.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bybee Branch Church of Christ with Ricky Kimbell and Dennis Kimery officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High's.

High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
