Notes for John Wesley Whittington

Records are contradictory with him. The 1880 census indicates that he was 2 years old in 1880 and had a sister Mollie born in January 1880. All other records indicate that he was born in 1880 (with the 1900 census saying February 1880). There is also a change of parents birth locations that occur in the records. Prior to 1900 records agree that both parents were born in Missouri. From 1990 (when he was just a few houses away from his parents), the records say that his father was born in Illinois and his mother in Virginia or West Virginia. It is possible that these are two different individuals, but I think they are the same.
