MemoEveryone says “Pryme Castle in Werral” but I cannot find reference to where the castle might have been. Brimstone Hall appears to be the only castle in Wirral (which moved from Cheshire to Merseyside in 1974) from that time frame. There is a de la Pryme castle in Lincolnshire.
