Notes for Sarah E Hinman

In 1850 census she and younger sister Susan are shown as Housers and thus probable children of Sarah Houser’s old age.6524 But in 1860 census they are shown as Hinmans with Mariah Hinman as the head of household and Sarah Houser living with them.7569 This suggests that they are Mariah’s children. The second scenario makes more sense, but I don’t know who Mariah Hinman is! Mariah Hinman is living with Timothy and Sarah Houser in the 1850 census so one might assume that she is a child of theirs from a very young age.
