Notes for Clement G Beard
He married Elizabeth “Lizzie” Gaines on August 16, 1893 in Los Angeles. They had two sons, Cecil C Beard and Gerald Beard in the 1900 Census. They divorced sometime between 1900 and 1905, and he married Henrietta C (Dieker) Madsen on October 28, 1905 in Santa Ana, California. The 1910 census shows him as twice divorced and living with his sons. But the 1920 census shows him as married to Henrietta again. Either the divorce is incorrect in the 1910 census or they remarried.
