Some people say she was born in 1825 in Holmes County, OH and died July 30, 1879 in McLean County, IL, others say she was born on March 28, 1834 and died October 12, 1909. Finally, some say she died December 25, 1860. What I can say for certain is that Jacob D Hochstedler’s tombstone has him with his wife Elizabeth (yes, both wives according to what I have found were named Elizabeth) and she outlived him, dying on October 12, 1909.8543 This makes it very likely that the March 28, 1834 and October 12, 1909 dates apply to his second wife and NOT to Elizabeth Catherine Hospelhorn.
