Notes for Bernice Leslie “Jim” Reed
An old photograph of the family taken when Oscar was an infant has names labeled by Mable Larson Webb McMillen. She doesn’t list Jonnie or Bernice but DOES list Jim who, judging by the picture, would be older than Charlie Reed but younger than Tom Webb.
377Jean Gibson knew Jim (Bernice) both before and after he married his cousin Esma Cook and she states that Jim Reed and Bernice Reed are indeed the same person (assumedly his given name was Bernice Jim Reed or some variant thereof).
414 He lived in Saskatchewan for many years prior to marrying Esma, and for a few years afterwards before moving to Niagara Falls, New York.
72Served in World War I.
