Brown Godwin Deweese is listed as her first husband with Percival Stanley Purdy as her second.1540 However, the death date for Brown is after that for Percival and the fact that all of her children were born to Percival while all of Brown’s were born to Blanche suggests that the order is wrong. In the same document listing under Blanche it lists Brown’s death as 1926 which is assuredly incorrect.

Social security records list a Mary Purdy born in 1896 who died in 1987. Her last residence was in Pennsylvania but her SSN was issued in New York.8
