In 1880 census, there is a Martha E Webb aged 25 living with him who one would guess is the wife of John J Webb aged 30 living with him. There is also a 1 year old child named Mary Webb and an 8 year old child named John Burney. One last resident, 70 year old Henry E. McDonald.176

I, Armistead Webb do make and publish this as my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Wills by me at any time made.
First. I direct that my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of, or may first come into the hands of my executor.
Secondly. I give and bequeath James A. Webb forty five acres of land joining Richard Jones on the North and East, beginning at a sassafras, running South to a rock, thence West thence North, thence East to the beginning. If James A. Webb has no heirs John Gordy Burney, is to have his land at James A. Webb's death.
I bequeath to William Webb fifteen acres of land East of my dwelling, also fifty acres of land including the dwelling and out buildings. John A. Webb to have fifty acres of land, the orchard South of the Spring. Robert M. Webb to have thirty acres of land joining J. W. Dorris on the East and South, and joining William and John A. Webb to maintain their mother, the balance of my property to be sold and the money equally divided between all of my heirs.
Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint William Webb, John A. Webb my executors, without bond or security, in witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal, this the ninth day of March 1880. Armistead Webb

I Armistead Webb having heretofore made and published my last Will and Testament do make and declare this as a Codicil thereto, to wit, First I bequeath to Thomas Webb heirs five dollars, to John A Webb heirs five dollars, to Robert M. Webb and to five dollars to James A. Webb, William Webb to have the remainder of my property. Lastly it my desire that this Codicil be attached to and constitute a part of my will to all intents and purposes, this the 9 day of May 1883.

A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Armistead Webb dec'd also a Codicil thereto was this day produced in open Court for probate, when said Will and Codicil were duly proven by the oath of John H. Brinkley one of the subscribing witnesses to each, the other witness to each, A. H. Brinkley being dead his signature was duly proven by J. H. Brinkley & G. A. Brinkley who testified on oath that they were well acquainted with A. H. Brinkley's handwriting & that his signature thereto was genuine, and J. H. Brinkley saw him sign his name as said witness, whereupon said will & Codicil was ordered filed & recorded as said last Will & Testament of Armistead Webb dec'd.
