Notes for William Smith Webb Sr.
There is disagreement about who his father was. Some think it was Samuel Webb (1735 - ) and Rebecca Martin while others think it was William Smith Webb and Ann Hillard.
125 Some sources lists him as the son of Samuel Boone Webb (May 23, 1740 - 1817) and Rebecca Paine with Samuel Boone Webb’s father being John Horrod Webb (1694) from England.
126,127 It is believed most likely (but unproven as far as I know) that his father was Samuel Webb (ID 61 in my genealogy).

I hereby appoint my two sons Samuel Webb and Armstead Webb sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
