On page 264 is Power of Atty. from John Webb of Edgecombe County, NC dated February 17, 1739. Names him as brother to Henry Webb. Witnessed by Tarlton Fleming, Isham Randolph, and Fra. James.
On page 251, deed 7, October 1739 John Webb of Goochland County, VA to John Bernard 200 acres on South side of James River. Witnessed by Robert Atkinson, Henry Webb, and Wil. Alford. John's stay in NC evidently was short.143
