Notes for Mary Ann Amy Webb
Mary Anne Amy Webb Blackwell and her daughter, Addie, had their photographs taken about 1855. Both had similar features, including dark hair parted in the middle, square faces and large eyes. These same features were handed down to many of her grandchildren.

One of Mary Anne's flax spinning wheels is now owned by Joan Wortham Garrett Bagley. It had been carefully preserved by her father, Jack Walton Garrett, and handed down to his youngest daughter. Family history states that Mary Anne used to spin with the slaves, setting a pace for them to follow.592

All sources of data are documented on the “Person Sheet” for each individual. My early data often came from less-than-reliable sources (e.g., “Sarah’s genealogy pages”). If the only sources for a person is something like that or worse there is no listed source for data, please take the information as only a suggestion and not a fact.
