Notes for Frieda Bammerlin
She is shown in a Sacramento City Directory (in 1933). The listing says:

Sturm Freda (wid) Geo h1905 16th
- Minnie (wid Jos) h2003 X1379

I interpret this to say that Frida was a widow in 1933. Doesn’t make sense to have her name as Sturm though since her second husband (George Schepp) was the one who widowed her. I did find a listing in the 1920 census of Orland, Glenn County, CA for Geo W Sturm and his wife Annette. I’m guessing something has been crossed up between the two. There is also a George and Anne Sturm in Oakland, Alameda County, CA in 1920.

Name at death was Frida Schepp (on both tombstone and California Death Index). Her maiden name is listed as Pommerlin on the California Death Index for her death, but as Pamerlin in the same index for Albert Sturm’s mother, Bamerlin, Bammerlin, Baumeline, etc.9

She spent her last years living with Albert and Ruby Sturm in Modesto.
