Albert Sturm, 61, Dies Suddenly While Mowing Lawn at Home Here
Albert Sturm, 61, a resident of Modesto for more than 30 years died suddenly yesterday afternoon, apparently of a heart ailment. He was cutting the lawn at his home when stricken. Sturm was a special police officer and formerly operated a merchant patrol. He was born in Sacramento.
Sturm leaves his widow, Ruby Sturm of Modesto; children, Mrs. Carl Christiansen and Traffic Sargeant Norman Sturm, both of Modesto and Albert Junior Sturm of the San Diego naval station; stepchild, Queenie McKay of Chico; brother and sisters, Edwin Sturm of Honolulu, Mrs. P. C. Phillips of Sacramento, Mrs. Glenn Smith of San Rafael and Mrs. Ona Rust of San Jose, and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3:30 PM Monday at the Salas Brothers-Moore Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
