Notes for Frederick Spencer Hotchkiss Jr.
Frederick Spencer Hotchkiss Jr. was 23 in 1890--born in CA, one of two Hotchkiss’ listed as living in Sacramento in 1890 with the other being Frederick Spencer Hotchkiss Sr. (65 in 1890--born in CT). The only Hotchkiss in Sacramento in 1933 was Mrs. Coru (could be Coril) on M street.1417

The 1930 census shows a Fredrick Hotchkiss age 60 (should be 63) first married at age 45 born in California with both parents from Massachusetts. His wife was named Myrtle, age 55 first married at age 20. The age at first marriage for Fredrick pretty much rules him out!2552

All sources of data are documented on the “Person Sheet” for each individual. My early data often came from less-than-reliable sources (e.g., “Sarah’s genealogy pages”). If the only sources for a person is something like that or worse there is no listed source for data, please take the information as only a suggestion and not a fact.
