Served in WW I.
1948Aprilla married "Old" Cowboy Bachelor Malcolm Cavaillin, who was a wonderful Dad to her 3 children with Tony Powell. They continued living in and around Palacious the rest of their lives, except for a brief try in the cafe business in Houston. They had 4 children, all girls. Aprilla and malcolm worked at " Camp Hulen " during W W II. Malcolm was a veteran of W W 1. After the war, Malcolm went to work for the city of Palacios as water superintendent, till he retired. He spent his spare time making good garden and fishing.
Aprilla loved to sew and all kinds of hand work. Keeping up with the grandkids, the more the better, cooking and visiting with their large families, and cooking "fish" for company.
They lived long enough to see 5 of their children married and give them 18 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Their family is still growing and loves the memories of " Granny & Dad " Cavaillin.[Broderbund Family Archive #110, Vol. 1 A-K, Ed. 7, Social Security Death Index: U.S., Date of Import: Jul 18, 2000, Internal Ref. #1.111.7.45915.123]
