Jonas Webb died late in 1781 early 1782 as Elizabeth Nutter Webb is shown as a widow with a large family in the 1782 tax list for Monongalia county Va and in 1785. Jonas Webb died intestate.
The conclusion that Jonas Webb died at this point and time is Elizabeth Webb is recorded in the Monongalia county land entry book as obtaining the 1000 acres, prempted to Jonas Webb, adjacent to Jonas Webb's settlement.
