PORT BOLIVAR - John H. Steiger passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at his home in Port Bolivar.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8th, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic n Crystal Beach, with Rosary being held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m, Wednesday June 9th, at St. Therese's, Fr. John Connolly, Celebrant, with burial to follow at Port Bolivar Cemetery, in Port Bolivar.
Mr. Steiger was an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by daughters; Teresa Getz of Renovo, PA, Joyce Seibel and Husband, Richard of San Antonio, Texas; sons; Fred Nestlerode and wife, Sue of York, Pa., John Steiger and wife, Susanne of Houston, Texas; brother Robert Steiger and wife, Dot of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
