Notes for George Thomas Harden
I had assumed him to be the son of Joseph Harden and grandson of Jesse and Sophia Harden based on the 1870 census.226 However, his death certificate disproves that notion.247 I suspect that his father was an older son of the Jesse Harden that was head of household in the 1870 census.
