Ethel Griffing
MESA, Ariz. -- Ethel Griffing, 91, Mesa, formerly of Wakefield, Kan., died Aug. 8, 2007.
Mrs. Griffing was born on March 7, 1916.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1992.
Survivors include three sons, Darryl of Mesa, Ariz.,A.C. of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Brad of Coventry, R.I.; two daughters, Gwen Eidman of Emporia, Kan., and Lois Griffing of South Orange, N.J.; a brother, Albion Avery of Leonardville, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, inWakefield. Inurnment will be in Wakefield Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Wakefield Museum Association, in care of Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, 918 Seventh, Clay Center, KS 67432.
There will be no visitation.
