Funeral Rites at Mission Church, Burial in City Cemetery

Gustaf Nathaniel Larson, 71, died Sunday afternoon at his home near Chariton after a lingering illness.

Mr. Larson had been a resident of Lucas county since 1868, when his family came from Sweden to settle on a farm in Lincoln township.

He was married here in 1893 to Emma Soffia Englund.

His widow, five children, two brothers, and three grandchildren survive Mr. Larson. The children are Ellen and Anna Larson, J. Edwin Larson, Mrs. Loran J. Wirene and Mrs. Lowell S. Bingaman, all of near Chariton. The brothers are D. A. Larson of Norquay, Sask., Canada, and A. H. Larson of Ludell, Kans.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Covenant Mission church, conducted by the Rev. E. D. Strandberg, and burial was in Chariton cemetery.1992
