Notes for Giles Webb
One researcher lists James of 1645 (Elizabeth Godwin's husband), John of 1645 (Mary Sanford's husband), Isaac of 1647 (Mary Bidwell's husband) and Giles of 1643 (Margaret's husband) as sons of this John Webb and grandsons of this Giles.557 However, another researcher claims to have debunked this line of ancestry.561 It is likely that Judith Bland is the wife of the other Giles and that James is likewise the son of the other Giles in my opinion (but that's just a guess). As such, I have moved James and Judith Bland over to the Giles of 1610.
