Notes for Marvin Victor Larson
Marvin was fun-loving and enjoyed eating. He was also a hard worker.

Marvin had attended Pacific Union College but transferred to Union College to be with his sweetheart, Sylvia Ford, daughter of Orley Ford. After graduating with a degree in theology, they went to Central America to work for the Chruch there. After some years they returned to the US and he took up Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University.

After completing his Physical Therapy at Loma Linda, he moved his family to Portland where he worked at the Portland Adventist Hospital. He purchased some property in Boring, OR, and built a very nice 5 bedroom house with a full basement with an apartment. He worked early and late to pay for this investment in his family.

Marvin suffered a stroke which took him out of the work place and eventually took his life.11

All sources of data are documented on the “Person Sheet” for each individual. My early data often came from less-than-reliable sources (e.g., “Sarah’s genealogy pages”). If the only sources for a person is something like that or worse there is no listed source for data, please take the information as only a suggestion and not a fact.
