Notes for Harvey Harold Hanson
His parents divorced soon after he was born and his father had nothing to do with him. Later in life he frequented a bar and the bartender informed him that there was another man named Harvey Hanson who also frequented the bar. They arranged to meet and found that they were father and son.1272

Had two daughters and one son. He was a school teacher who fell in love with another school employee. He divorced his first wife Bunny and was married three weeks after the divorce.

He had an inoperable brain tumor and spent his last years in a care facility. While he was there his daughter Heather visited him every week and his first wife Bunny visited occasionally. On one of Heather’s visits, she took him out for a ride and asked him if he would like to go out to eat. He indicated that he would but he wanted a toothbrush. So, Heather drove to his house (which was nearby) to ask his wife Barbara for his toothbrush. Barbara expressed surprise that Harvey was still alive and said that she had already disposed of all of Harvey’s belongings.1272

All sources of data are documented on the “Person Sheet” for each individual. My early data often came from less-than-reliable sources (e.g., “Sarah’s genealogy pages”). If the only sources for a person is something like that or worse there is no listed source for data, please take the information as only a suggestion and not a fact.
