Mom was preceded in death in 1982 by her beloved husband Norman, after 48 years of marriage. Lorna has 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandkids, 7 great-great-grandkids, 4 step-grandkids, 8 step-great-grandkids. Mom loved golfing, sewing, Santa Cruz and being with family. Ronald Everett White of Corning passed away April 17, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Redding, CA. He was born January 27, 1941, to Anna Rodrigues White and Charles Elgie White. Ron was raised in Richfield, CA where he attended grammar school. He attended high school in Corning where he was the proud recipient of the CA State Farmer FFA Degree at graduation in 1959. Ron was also proud be an Army Veteran serving his country from 1964-1966. Upon completion of his military service, he entered the meat cutting apprenticeship program and worked for Purity Stores in Healdsburg, CA, returning to the north state in 1970 when he was offered a position with Safeway. He retired as the Meat Department Manager for the Corning store in 2003 having spent 37 years in the industry. In addition to Safeway, he farmed 40 acres of prunes in Richfield before selling to Curt Eller in 2012. Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Andrea, son Lance of Sacramento, two grandchildren, his brother Raymond White (Sylvia) of Richfield, sister Chery Holliday (Dennis) of Westminster, CO; brother-in-law Bruce Russell (Mary) of Redding, CA; his mother-in-law Bobbie Jean Dorvall of Orland, and much-loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and beloved son, Ryan, on November 28, 2012. Ron loved his family, his precious dog Bella, fishing, hunting with his brother and most of all spending time at his cabin in Mineral. He was also the reigning shuffleboard champion of Mineral. Ron was an avid fan of the SF Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, May 4 at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Corning. A catered lunch will follow. Remembrances may be made in Ron’s name to the Corning Volunteer Fire Department, 814 Fifth St., Corning, CA 96021.

My GGGgrandfather was Theodorick Webb b @ 1753 d 19 March 1801.He married 1) Elizabeth Miller, 2) Mary Lacy I believe in Anson Co., North Carolina.They were later in Fort Mill South, Carolina.
Theodorick had a brother James Webb b @1762 d 8 Decenber 1813.Married 1) @1783 Sarah Lacy sister of my Mary. 2) Margaret Robb.Their kids were: Stephen, Keziah, Eleanor, Hannah, Thomas, Samuel, Nancy Webb m. James Stewart, Sarah b 1803, James b 1805, Joseph b 1811 and Theodorick b 28 August 1813.I received a lot of this information from a Max Perry who had done some work on the Webbs of York Co, South Carolina.
I'm thinking that my Theodorick is more than likely a son of Theodorick, son of Cuthbert, Son of John Webb and Hannah Carter (whose father was Theodorick Carter).
I some information that some of the of Mary and Sarah Lacy Webb went to Hickman Co., Tennessee where my Webbs went.
