Barbara Mayhew Tomlin, 70, of Lynchburg, went home to heaven to be with God and her family, Friday, January 1, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving and devoted wife of Rodney J. Tomlin for fifty-years.

Born November 28, 1939 in Bethesda, MD, she was the daughter of Virginia Dunn Mayhew of Winchester and the late Garnett Mayhew and was also preceded in death by one son, Perry L. Tomlin; one brother, Garnett William Mayhew, Jr. and one sister, Helen Noreen Mayhew. Mrs. Tomlin was a former employee of the City of Lynchburg and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Tomlin is survived by one daughter, Cathy T. Jacobs and husband, Poncho of Forest; two sons, Bruce D. Tomlin of Lynchburg and Jody D. Tomlin and wife, Tina of Richmond; one sister, Gloria Ricketts of Winchester; a daughter-in-law, Robin Tomlin of Richmond; eight grandchildren, H.D. Jacobs, Madison Jacobs, Samantha Tomlin, Kaitlyn F. Tomlin, Kamryn Tomlin, Kaitlyn L. Tomlin, Tiffany Lotts, and Jacob Tomlin and two great-grandchildren, Kailee Vick and Tyler Vick

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Minister Clyde E. Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, January 3, 2010 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Cathy and Poncho, 410 Meadows Drive, Forest.

Lois Jean Evans, 69, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away December 22, 2001 at Hope Hospice House South in Fort Myers, Florida.

Lois leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Albert. She also leaves behind 6 children: Brad (Wynnae) Evans, New Auburn, WI, Bonnie (Dave) Magoon, Cape Coral, FL, Bobbie Alexander, Yankton, SD, Dene (Donna) Evans, Fort Myers, FL, Pam (John) Engebreston, Chetek, WI, Scott (Becky) Evans, Lehigh Acres, FL; 16 granchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister, Shirley Pimple, Minong, WI. A brother, Dene Barton, Askov, MN, and a step-sister, Ruby Bauer, Minneapolis, MN. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Fern Barton and her daughter Laura Becker.

Lois was a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL for 23 years, born and raised in Barron, WI.

We all loved her very much and she will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 4th 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, 1430 Homestead Rd. North Lehigh Acres, FL (corner of Lee Blvd. and Homestead Rd.).

Lois will be taken to Birchwood, WI for her final resting place.

Robert was born in Hudson and raised in River Falls, Wisconsin on December 15, 1954. He passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on Monday, February 1, 2016 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He was a cherished and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. Always enjoyed making people laugh and as his family says "a card a minute". He had a relentless and contagious way of touching many lives with his presence. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling the United States, and watching the Green Bay Packers & Badgers football games. He will always be missed and the memories of his life will never be forgotten. Those who had the chance to be touched by such a great and caring man will forever be grateful for his life.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bertilla Olsen; sisters, Barbara Scott and Donna Olsen. Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lori; daughters; Danielle and Brittany; brothers, Gene (Diane) and Carl (Betty); sisters, Lorene Segerstrom, Linda Beckman, and Mary Velarde; sister-in-law, Kathy (Gordon) Matrious; brothers-in-law, Scot (Dena) Barton and Tim (Karen) Barton.

Funeral Service 12 Noon, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street South, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, 55016 with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, Wisconsin.
