Martha E. Rhynalds passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 23, 2019. She was born in Tobias, Nebraska on May 25, 1921 to her parents William and Sarah Elizabeth Davies. A beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma who has always been our guardian angel.
Martha devoted her life to her family and loved ones. She had a profound influence on those whose lives she graced with her presence. She exuded elegance, grace, beauty, charm, and love. Martha was blessed with two loving husbands; “her Pauls” Paul B. Rush and Paul S. Rhynalds. Their love was pure joy and devotion and both Paul’s treated her like the queen she is. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as they brought her so much joy and she loved every moment she spent with them.
She always made sure that anyone who came to visit never left hungry or without a little something. Martha was strong, independent with a kind heart, loving and loyal beyond words. No one could ever tell her NO! She was blessed with a beautiful family and instilled in them to have a strong self-worth, to be devoted to family, to be loyal, but most of all, be respectful to others yet independent and caring. She left her family with many beautiful memories that will carry on for generations.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, all eight of her siblings, and her husbands, Paul B. Rush and Paul S. Rhynalds, as well as her son, Paul D. Rush. She lovingly leaves her legacy to her only daughter, Martha Ann Beecher; two granddaughters, Lori Patrice Beecher and Elisabeth Ann Lennier; great-grandchildren, Zachary Gage Hughes, Mackenzee Lane Anderson and Cayden Allen Lennier. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family would like to give many thanks to Hospice of Central Arkansas who went above and beyond in her care. Also, very special thanks for the wonderful, loving, and compassionate care she was given by Evelin Tobar, Tynisha Hudson, and Dana Gardner.
A Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Caruth Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of Central Arkansas.
