Notes for Frederick Louis Whittington
Got into a fight with A. S. Johnson while at work (which means on a moving train) on April 1, 1939. Both individuals claimed that the other party started the fight. The railroad indicated that the person determined to be at fault would lose his job. The final settlement required Johnson to pay Fred $1.00 for damages and as a result Johnson lost his job. In the ensuing divorce between Fred and Nora Whittington, it was revealed that the actual reason for the fight was Johnson’s refusal to end an ongoing affair with Nora Whittington.

All sources of data are documented on the “Person Sheet” for each individual. My early data often came from less-than-reliable sources (e.g., “Sarah’s genealogy pages”). If the only sources for a person is something like that or worse there is no listed source for data, please take the information as only a suggestion and not a fact.
