Married in Reno on February 12 were Mr. William Lyons and Miss Verda Webb, popular young St. Helena couple.

The bride was a student nurse at the St Helena Sanitarium, and her bridegroom is a television technician with Taylor Electric.

The couple slipped away early on the morning of February 12, a Sunday, and were back in St Helena that evening. The secret was well kept until last week, when it became known at Monterey Academy, where the bride had attended school.

The new Mrs. Lyons is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Webb of Chowchilla. She attended Monterey Bay Academy and took a pre-nursing course at Pacific Union College before entering as a student nurse at the Sanitarium.

She has three borthers, Jack, Lynn and Fred Webb, of Chowchilla.

Mr. Lyons is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Lyons of Napa. A native of Los Angeles, he attended Napa College for two years, and served in the Navy for a short time. His father is a native Napan.

He has a sister, Mrs. Randall W. Wilcox, of Lakeport.

The wedding culminates a romance begun when young Lyons was in the Sanitarium for serious injuries received when the sports car driven by David Christoffersen went off the road in Lake County a year ago.

Hospitalized for five weeks, he met Miss Webb and the friendship began.
