Donald Long, 75 a minister and retired administrator, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Rozanne Long.

The celebration service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Monday at Bradfordville First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bradfordville First Baptist Church Building Fund, 6494 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309. Culley's Meadow Wood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191) is handling arrangements.

A native Kentuckian, he retired as the administrator at Westminster Oaks. He served as a Baptist minister and went to be with the Lord. He served churches in Kentucky, Illinois and Iowa and was a National Girl Scout Executive. He also worked at healthcare facilities in Kentucky and Florida. His biggest interest was in serving small churches and missions.

Other survivors include a sister, Glee Bell of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a son, Dwight of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Vicki Crothers of Wise, Va.; four stepdaughters he considered his own, Janet Cannon of Cleveland, Ohio, Laura Masterson of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Jill Powell of Springfield, Ill., and Ramona Trescott of Tallahassee; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rozanne L. Sutter Long, 80, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on November 29, 2017 at the home she shared with her family. She was born on April 13, 1937, in Orlando, Florida to Dr. Leroy Merwin Sutter and Ramona Louise Stephenson. 

Rozanne attended Fletcher Nursing School in Hendersonville, North Carolina and worked for years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her most recent position prior to her retirement was as the Head Nurse of the new Alzheimer's Unit at Westminster Oaks Retirement Community, where she met and married Donald E. Long, the director of the facility, in 1998. They had enjoyable years of travel prior to his death in 2004. 

In addition to her husband, Rozanne was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Patrick Trescott. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Trescott-Collins (Thomas), and two granddaughters, Sarah Trescott and Rose Trescott, and her sister, Dorothy Burkett (Bobby), all of Tallahassee, Florida. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Dwight Long (Carolyn) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Vicki Crothers (Charlie) of Boyce, Louisiana.

A private family graveside service is planned. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Rozanne's cherished dog, Boo, donations can be provided to Tallahassee Animal Services, 1125 Easterwood Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32311.

Lorraine Elizabeth Rukke was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, January 1, 1925, to parents George and Elizabeth (Blum) Kechter. Lorraine was raised and lived much of her young life in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved with her family in the 1940's to the Portland area. She graduated from Lincoln High School.

She exchanged wedding vows with Lyle N. Rukke in 1949.

Lorraine was involved in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and also with Immanuel Lutheran church in Woodburn, Oregon.

Reading, crochet, needlecraft, pinochle, and other card games were some of the things Lorraine enjoyed doing. She was very fond of 4th of July parades. She made great pies and loved to cook. Lorraine especially enjoyed the many family times spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren at their beach house in Rockaway.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth Kechter; her loving husband Lyle; and a sister, Janny Peters.

Survivors include her daughters: Linda Rukke Landen (husband Eric) and LuAnn Rukke; her son, Les Rukke (wife Karen); a sister, MollyAnne Rimerman; and four grandchildren; Jessica McLendon, Kara Landen, and Brittanie and Kevin Rukke.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, May 27th, 1pm, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 15751 Quarry Road, in Lake Oswego, Oregon 97035, Phone: (503) 635-4563

Lorraine will be privately laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Gardens, Garden of Nativity.

WOODBURN—Margaret Robison, 92, died Saturday.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1909 in Norka, Russia. She came to America at the age of five. Her family is located in Lincoln, Neb. She met and married Guy Arnold Robison in 1929 in Lincoln. They moved to Oregon in 1936 and lived in SW Portland until 1978, at which time they moved to Woodburn to settle in the Senior Estates. Guy preceded her in death in 1991. In 1998, she moved to the Cascade Park Retirement Center and became a very active resident. She served one term as President of their council. Most of her working life was involved with retail sales, starting at Kresses' 5 and 10 Cent Store in Lincoln in 1928. She loved to do crafts of any sort and spent hours knitting for the community center in Woodburn. She loved to play cards and social games, and always had a happy outlook. She loved to work in her flower beds while she still had a yard and it always showed. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Brown of Florence, Ariz.; granddaughter, Roberta Brown of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; grandson, Brad Brown of Gilbert, Ariz.; two great-grandsons, Mike and Mark Brown; one great-great-grandson, Blake Brown; and sister, Anna Brisack of Portland. She is also survived by her loving extended family at Cascade Retirement Apts.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn. Private interment will be at Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard.
